WeWrite could become the New Town Hall. It could become a place for the public to gather together and discuss ideas in an open and rational manner. WeWrite opposes censorship, and hopes to help to unleash new ideas.
The privacy-centric aspects of WeWrite is such that new innovative ideas could be gestated in privacy communities of believers, and then once those ideas have matured enough, they can be brought before the public in a distilled manner.
The ideas that drive society are currently locked away in the grubby hands of academic institutions and billionaire "philanthropist" NGO think tanks, while the counter-hegemonic utterances of us regular people are explicitly censored or quietly suppressed on modern social media.
