Also called “astronomy mode” ... this theme allows you to browse WeWrite comfortably in dark environments, and the red color doesn’t dilate your pupils. Check out this mockup:

Many militaries offer this type of theme for in-field devices to ensure that soldiers can use their devices without sacrificing their night-adjusted vision.

Furthermore, in this mode (as well as other dark modes) all the UI except for the Donation Bar will fade away slightly to make the reading experience more immersive.

Hopefully you’ll use this mode to read pleasant bedtime stories or plot how you’re gonna build the Next Big Thing.
