WeWrite intends to allow the unleashing of storytelling from the people whose voices are forgotten and ignored; not picked up by the news media or the Netflix writers.
Social media gives regular people a voice if they know the silly tricks of going viral. A poet's words might never be heard unless it's put to a wild beat in a song. WeWrite hopes to unleash the meek writer by allowing early believers to sustain the writer through small recurring donations.
Perhaps a poem could begin as just that, and slowly emerge into a broad network of related works; comics, videos, documentaries, a whole empire of psychoscape artifacts.
