WeWrite will want to eventually become a native app so that we can get out of the Web Browser UI. That is, we'll need to develop an iOS App and an Android app.

In addition to freeing up that space at the bottom, having a native app will also allow us to control how gestures are handled.

For example, swiping down while at the top of the page triggers the "refresh" functionality in Safari, we'll be able to use that gesture to do something else, if we'd like.
