Apple Notes is an inspiration to WeWrite in that it's very simple and easy to use, it gets out of the way and thus is an excellent tool for thought. It's a bicycle for the mind.

WeWrite aims for a similar simplicity, where you can write as fast as you can think.

Here's what WeWrite does that Apple Notes doesn't do:

• While Apple Notes allows for minimal collaboration on an invite-basis, WeWrite allows for a nomadic migration of contributors and thinkers in and out of various schools of thought, in the same way that Twitter feels like a giant group chat where anybody can join the conversation
