How is it different from Substack?
Substack and Medium are about posting finalized articles, whereas WeWrite is about crafting pages over time. Substack and Medium also use paywalling, and WeWrite doesn't do that, we have a floating donation bar on each page.
Do you support Markdown?
You can import from and export to markdown, but WeWrite has its own special quirks that make writing much easier than Markdown
Will you support images and videos?
WeWrite is trying to make words, logic, reason, and rational debates as exciting as scrolling slop on Tiktok. We might never allow images and videos to prevent these supercharged elements from distracting from the words. We're trying to make literacy cool again.
